5 Months!

Case is now 5 months old and loving life (as far as I can tell)! He is my long and lean little man and weighs about 14 1/2 lbs and is a little more than 25 inches long.

Some of his recent milestones:

• Longer awake times (about 2 hours) between naps.
• Stands up straight bearing all weight on legs with support under his armpits and will step with his feet like he is trying to walk.
• Twists, turns, and rolls to get to a toy or object (mom's cell phone) that he wants.
• Anything in reaching distance is fair game and will surely be slobbered on.
• Rolls from back to tummy like a champ.
• Just figured out how to roll from tummy to back but can't do it consistently.
• Has figured out how to get the little piggies into his mouth.
• Giggles when the tickle monster gets him.
• If dad is holding him he'll reach his arms out and lean to mom (mainly when it's time to eat).
• Smiles, smiles and more smiles for mom and dad.
• Knows that "1, 2, 3 Up" means we are gonna pick him up and he'll help by lifting his head and contracting his abs (we swear he already has a 6-pac and can hold a crunch longer than both me and Ryan)
