Funny Stories

I just had to share these two funny stories with you!

Last Night: Ryan was working out of town and wasn't home in the evening. So, about 6:00 Case and I are playing in the family room when he hear a noise in the kitchen and says, "Da Da Da Da" and goes looking for Ryan :) I thought this was pretty cute and when he came back to where I was explained that Daddy wasn't going to be home tonight. Case didn't see to care what I said and went on to playing with his blocks. A few minutes later he ran down the hallway and started whining in front of our bedroom door. At first I thought he was upset because the light was off so I turned it on but he just looked around then pointed at the closed bathroom door. That was when it registered that he was still looking for Dad! I opened that door to show him the bathroom was empty. He then made me open the other 2 closed doors in the house and seemed disappointed to find that Dad wasn't hiding from him!!!!! Super cute :)

Tonight: Case had the residuals of a diaper rash so I took off his diaper after dinner to let him "air out" a bit before his bath. (I'm sure you can see where this is headed.) Ryan and I were in the family room watching something on the news when we heard Case from the kitchen say very clearly "uh-oh" (his new favorite word). We asked him what happened and he just kept saying it. Since we weren't helping him he came around the corner and said "uh-oh" louder. This is when it dawned on me the "uh-oh" might possibly mean he had an accident. Sure enough as I round the corner into the kitchen I saw a small puddle of pee on the floor. Case squated down next to me and said, "uh-oh" again and mom joined him this time :) Together we cleaned it up the whole while I'm busting up with laughter on the inside at my little man who realized he shouldn't have peed on the floor!!!!!
