April 2011 - 30th Bday in VEGAS!

I turned 30 this year and for my birthday I really wanted to go to Vegas to see Celine Dion. I didn't really expect it to actually happen but low and behold I was in Vegas just 2 days after my birthday with some of the women I love most! The weekend was exhausting but awesome and I am so grateful to Ryan and the girls (Mom, Kel, Kate, Jen, Kim) for making it happen! It will be a lifetime memory :)

Celine was absolutely amazing! Her voice, stage presence, performance, and musicians are unbelievable. Baby Smith must have been lulled asleep because I didn't feel baby move the entire hour and a half!

Road Trip! Katie, Jenna and I leaving Clovis for Vegas. It took over 7 hours to get there but worth the drive since we were able to bring lots of "stuff" and food for the weekend. We had a suite at the Jockey Club which was a tiny hotel tucked in between the Bellagio and the new Cosmopolitan. It was the perfect place (and price) for us and fit the 6 of us comfortably.

Friday night and the girls (minus Mama C) are ready to go dancing!

The Cosmopolitan, a magical place.

Posing in front of the Monte Carlo.

Quick frozen yogurt break out of the hot vegas sun.

Jen, Kel, Kate resting for a bit in the shark tank at the aquarium inside Mandalay Bay.

Enjoying the sights at MGM before going downstairs to get up close with the Lions, who spent the majority of their time watching the lights on the slot machines before the trainers came in with raw meat to entice them to move about :)

Waiting for the next Bellagio fountain performance which we couldn't get enough of!

Baby bump and I enjoying the gorgeous spring flowers inside the Bellagio.

Now THIS is what every woman needs to have in her home, a chocolate fountain that was over 12 feet tall!
