Case is 8 months now (about 16 lbs) and going full speed ahead. He loves to explore and can keep himself busy for an hour just checking out a new space or object. The other day it was a short cardboard box that hold the boxes of crackers from Costco. He was pushing it all around the tile and even climbed in to sit awhile.
Clapping (with both hands open now) is his way of showing that he approves. The best is when we go in to get him out of bed in the morning or after a nap. He is usually sitting up in his crib with his binky in his mouth and as soon as he sees us he starts to clap and his whole body bounces as he gets into it. What a great way to start the day.
