· Your baby acts completely like a newborn, with her eyes opened when awake and closed
when sleeping. You may also find her settling into more of a routine for sleeping & awake times.
· She has learned to blink. She can also see more clearly when there is a bright light on your stomach and probably has the outline of all your organs memorized!
· Antibodies from your blood are being transferred to him. These immunities continue to build until birth. Then breast milk will add even more protection against disease.
· Your baby may have already turned to a head-down position in preparation for birth. If he is your first baby, he may be settling into the pelvis with his head pressing against your cervix.
· Fingernails have reached the end of the fingertips now. She may scratch her face even before she is born!
· Your little one's length is 17.7 inches (45cm) and weight is 4.7 pounds (2146 g).

It is pretty amazing how fast all of this happens! My belly is still pretty small (like a volleyball under my shirt) and it seems to shock everyone when I tell them how far along I am. I am not worried about it though since it seems big enough to me and baby sure is starting to fill up all of the space in there that is for sure. My belly is so tight and hard that I can feel when baby is right at the surface sticking himorher’s butt out, giving us the best full moon show we can’t see! Now instead of flutters it feels like thunder rumbling in my gut when baby wakes up and decides to do pull ups from my ribs!

Ryan and I have been busy moving the office furniture into the guest room and setting up Baby Smith’s bedroom. We have already received so many wonderful things from family and friends, one of which was the crib bedding set we registered for (thanks Stephanie and Paull!) so the room is starting to come together. (I'll post pics of the room soon!) Sometimes it is too much for Ryan and we have to shut the door :)! READY OR NOT BABY SMITH WILL BE HERE SOON!!!
