Since I had earned enough Frequent Flyer miles for a free flight I packed my bags for a long weekend and flew to Portland to visit my girlfriend (from Jr. High), Emmeline! (Ryan had a man trip planned so I was on my own.) Even though it was a short trip we packed it full and had a blast. Even the weather cooperated so we took advantage of the sunshine and spent a morning at the Portland Zoo. The park was really nice and reminded me of a mini version of the San Diego Zoo. Our favorite animal to watch by far were the Polar Bears who were showing off their swimming skills.
It was great to have some quality girl time with an old friend! Thanks again Em for having me, love you lots!!
